There is generally a gentle sound of canine snoring underfoot while CS is working. Ergo, coffee. The tension between sleep and caffeine forms the backbone of CS’s writing, along with frequent walks through Mercer Arboretum to enjoy the Texas sunshine (or Texas cloudiness, especially in the summer).

 

A poet and short story writer, CS maintains a blog at Moon Pools and Mermaids for current projects and inspirations, and is currently working on a novel.
